The extension creates the local capture; the public plugin turns that .cdesign file into editable layers in your current Figma design file.
Capture a page
Use the extension's Figma output for a full page or a component.
Download .cdesign
Keep the generated archive on your computer; no website upload is required.
Run the plugin
Open CloneWebsite Design Importer from its Figma Community listing.
Import selected scenes
Drop the file, review the scenes, and inspect the import report.
Install the .crx manually
Use this if you prefer a local package or the store listing is not available in your region.
Download the .crx file
Click "Download .crx" above to save clonewebsite-latest.crx to your computer.
Open the extensions page
Go to chrome://extensions in Chrome, or edge://extensions in Edge.
Enable Developer mode
Toggle on "Developer mode" in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
Drag in the .crx to install
Drag the downloaded .crx file onto the extensions page and confirm "Add extension".
